It did, but not as well as I had hoped. The single LED is bright, but the beam is too focused to shed light on the entire keyboard no matter how we position it. The beam is narrow and may be too small for a larger keyboard or a keyboard with hard-to-see lettering. It is however, perfect for my white-on-black chiclet keys on my 10.1" netbook. It makes it difficult to see those keys in anything less than direct light. Enter this LED lamp. The light is small but does the trick. The arm/cord is flexible allowing for any angle you want, and is stiff enough that it stays in place. When you're not using it, coil it up and it takes up very little space. The best feature is the price! |
